Visit from Aunt Wendy and first Easter Egg Hunt!!!

Last week Chase got to spend some time with his Aunt Wendy! He was pretty excited, he gave her big smiles and even showed her his funny face. All the Hartman's got together and went to dinner and Chase really was showing off, he put on a good long show of funny face and thought he was pretty cool.




Thursday afternoon we went to go get some Easter pictures. We tried a new place, The Picture People, and I was TOTALLY disappointed and will never stray from my favorite Bernice at Sears EVER again. I told them we were wanting Easter pictures and we ended up with ONE picture that Chase was holding ONE egg in, which is now, by default, his only Easter picture. Last Sunday we went to church with some friends and Chase got to participate in his first Easter Egg Hunt! I think he was really just tired, but he just wasn't interested in hunting eggs. We set him down by an egg and he immediately got upset, kicked a shoe off, and wanted to be held again...



We finally got him to take a little interest in an egg, and when he decided it was ok to hold it, he took it and threw it back into the grass...



I'm sure next year he will be way more into the whole hunt thing, especially when he knows more about candy!
