HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

Chase had his Valentine pictures taken today, he got a little grumpy towards the end of the session. He always did so good for pictures, but now that he is a maniac, he just won't sit still and it is so much more of a challenge to get a good picture!! Almost all of these pictures he had his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth, I guess that was his new thing for the evening... oh well, what a cute boy anyway...

Visiting Bobo in Houston and the annual poker tournament!

Last Thursday morning Chase went on his first plane ride! We got out of town just before the snow storm hit and went to Houston to visit Bobo and play in the All in for ALS tournament. This was my third year and Danny's second year to play, up for grabs are a bunch of cool prizes and the top prize is a $10,000 seat to the WSOP... of course there are like 400 people in the tournament and the best I have ever done is to place around 140. This year was the worst year yet, I was out the first hand when I had pocket Aces and called a guy's all in bet who had a pair of three's. And the three came out on the river and I was gone. Danny followed shortly after. Despite our bad luck this year with the cards we had a super fun time in Houston!!! Here are a few pictures of the poker tournament...

The poker tournament is just an added bonus to going to Houston. The best part of Houston is Bobo!!! And we loved being able to go see what goes on at Bobo's home away from home. When we arrived Thursday we were picked up from the airport by Bobo and DeeDee and went for some lunch then back to Bobo's apartment so Chase could take a nap... a long long long nap. Chase slept SO much in Houston, in Tulsa he takes 30 minute naps usually, in Houston, Chase took 3 hour naps. I guess the plane ride just wore him out!! That evening we went to the best steakhouse in Texas... A Taste of Texas. I had prime rib, and my mouth is watering for more of it just typing about it.. it was SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!! Friday DeeDee came to pick us up from the hotel and we went to go get Bobo from work and did a little shopping and out to lunch. After lunch we dropped Bobo back off at work and went back to the apartment for Chase to take his three hour nap. DeeDee made a yummy dinner for us Friday night. Bobo was worn out after a long day of shopping and work, he took a little snooze before dinner, Chase was gracious enough to let him borrow his huge frog, Barney, and blanket so Bobo could have some sweet dreams...

Saturday was the poker tournament, after Danny and I were both knocked out (sniff sniff)

Bobo came to pick us up. (DeeDee was home with Chase while he was taking another 3 hour nap!)
When we went back to the apartment, we ordered some pizza. This is a funny story... DeeDee I am sure will appreciate me telling... the pizza arrived and DeeDee took one look and said nope, it's not ours they gave you the wrong order! Look the box says "Russo's" they gave us Russo's order... so Bobo and I head back to the pizza place. We take a closer look at the order we had and it IS the right order, and EVERY box says "Russo's" We went back to the apartment and gave DeeDee a hard time for awhile. I do believe from now on I will always have to put my pizza order under the name "Russo" hahaha!!!

Playing with Grampy and a new book!!!!

Grampy came over and brought Christmas presents from Aunt Wendy and Uncle Tim. Chase got a really neat book that had five little finger puppet monkeys, Chase loves books, and the added monkeys makes this book one of his favorites now! Thank you Aunt Wendy and Uncle Tim!!!!
