Good bye pre k, this boy is ready for "high school"

I am so proud of Chase, finished with pre k and is ready for kindergarten! He can write, read sight words, count as high as he wants, and has grown up so much this last year. His picture from the first day, compared to the last day, shows just how much he has grown. Crazy.

Chase's 5th birthday!

Can't believe Chase is five!!! He celebrated his birthday at Incredible Pizza with some of his preschool buddies, it was a fun time. Chase had been looking forward to the "ticket blaster"  for at least a month. We tried to move on from trains this birthday, and went with an Angry Birds theme, but when it came down to what he wanted with his birthday money, it was all about Thomas. That's okay I suppose, it could be worse ;)

Mother's day brunch with Chase

What a wonderful morning it was with Chase! He had made me a flower and a necklace and his class had super singing performance after our yummy brunch. Chase even escorted me with his "gentleman arm" to the brunch area. Can't believe how fast he is growing up.

Renaissance Festival!

We go to the Renaissance Festival every year, and it seems to get better every year! We had so much fun, Chase and Kaylee became a lord and a lady of the kingdom by the king and queen, they rode ponies, Kaylee met a mermaid (who she was fascinated with and asked the mermaid when she could become one), Chase climbed a castle, they both put their names in Peter Pan's book so he could tell his lost boys about them... The whole day was awesome!!!
