Day Trip to the Children's Museum

Upon the advice of Aunt Wendy, we decided to take a little day trip to the Jasmine Moran Childrens Museum... and we had a BLAST! There was so much to do in this place, it is an amazing little museum in the teeny tiny town of Seminole, well worth the trip. There were so many things to do and see, so I have a lot of pictures! There was a car shop, where Chase and Kaylee put in some antifreeze and changed the tires on the car... Construction trucks to move rocks with... Puppet shows a la Chase... Here you could change the slats to make your own track for the ball to go down... A room just for Kaylee size people to play!! There was a room where you could create a shadow on the wall when a flash went off... Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles... Chase usually has a good time going grocery shopping with me, but he had a blast doing it on his own! It was interesting to see the things he picked out. Kaylee had a great time just sitting outside the 'grocery store' waiting for Chase to finish shopping Dr Chase, calling Dr Chase, you have a patient waiting... Time for a little break before a train ride... After being outside on the train we felt like we were on fire, so we came inside and Chase and Kaylee became firefighters!! They had a fireman pole to go down, but it was closed, so Chase had to go down the slide, by the look on his face you can tell how disappointed he was... Both Chase and Kaylee were fascinated with this exhibit. It had a bunch of marble like balls that would roll different ways, causing all different noises, and paths for the balls to go on, it was really cool!!! Next we were off to become pilots, they had the cockpit of a real airplane the kids could fly, then they had a red plane that you could pull on the handle bar and make it nose dive or take off... There was a dinosaur dig, where kids could dig for REAL dinosaur bones! Funny mirrors There was a news room, where Chase and Kaylee did a live news report and watched themselves on TV! And last but not least... the play area, that made me sooooo nervous. Chase seemed a little nervous at first too, but once he made it to the slide the first time, it was all over. He was SO proud of himself, and he had so much fun. WHEW! You think this was a long blog... you can only imagine what a long day it was! And Chase didn't even sleep on the drive home, he talked about everything he did and said he couldn't wait to go back to the museum tomorrow...
