Visit from Aunt Wendy and first Easter Egg Hunt!!!

Last week Chase got to spend some time with his Aunt Wendy! He was pretty excited, he gave her big smiles and even showed her his funny face. All the Hartman's got together and went to dinner and Chase really was showing off, he put on a good long show of funny face and thought he was pretty cool.




Thursday afternoon we went to go get some Easter pictures. We tried a new place, The Picture People, and I was TOTALLY disappointed and will never stray from my favorite Bernice at Sears EVER again. I told them we were wanting Easter pictures and we ended up with ONE picture that Chase was holding ONE egg in, which is now, by default, his only Easter picture. Last Sunday we went to church with some friends and Chase got to participate in his first Easter Egg Hunt! I think he was really just tired, but he just wasn't interested in hunting eggs. We set him down by an egg and he immediately got upset, kicked a shoe off, and wanted to be held again...



We finally got him to take a little interest in an egg, and when he decided it was ok to hold it, he took it and threw it back into the grass...



I'm sure next year he will be way more into the whole hunt thing, especially when he knows more about candy!

Almost WALKING!!!

The day has got to be just around the corner when Chase takes his first steps on his own. He has been pulling up and walking around the furniture, tables, his crib, etc. for some time now. But he did have a first today.... he actually took some steps with a walking toy... it was so exciting!! I think Chase felt pretty cool...

Funny Face!!!

I can not help but crack up when Chase makes these faces, and he has caught on to that. Now that he knows I find it amusing, he has been making faces all the time!!!

My leprechaun husband is turning 34!!! Now if you know my husband at all, you now know why he has an obsession with GREEN.... he's a St Paddy's day baby!!!

Too much TV...

Chase LOVES television. It's probably not the best to let him watch as much as he does, but hey, Nick Jr says it's like preschool on tv, so maybe he is learning something too! Chase has his favorites... Thomas the Train, Dora the Explorer, Jack's Big Music Show... and probably the all time favorite.. Wow Wow Wubbzy. Lately Wow Wow Wubbzy has had a lot of "kickity kick balls" on and Chase is also pretty fascinated with balls right now so I think that is why he is so into this show. One of Chase's favorite things to do, besides watch tv, is to push or throw a ball and then crawl after it, he can do that for hours... which is good exercise I guess!!!

Tracy's Wedding

Our friend Tracy got married to a wonderful guy named Jeremy on the 27th of February. We are so excited for them, they are such good people. They actually met on e-harmony, just another success story I guess... :) Tracy was a beautiful bride and it was really fun to go to their wedding and celebrate at the reception!




This picture makes Danny's nose look HUGE! But I thought I looked pretty...haha!!

Circus!!!

We took Chase to the circus... and well, this is how he spent most of the time there...

Chase was awake for the begining of the show and I think he enjoyed all the lights and little kids running around. Maybe it was just to much to take in and it wore him out. Daddy and Mommy sure seemed to enjoy themselves...


And Daddy had to buy Chase a light up toy, since all the other kids had one of course!!!
