Playing with Dada

The boys, attempting to put together a Thomas the Train puzzle...

Okay.. if your going to eat the pieces we have to put it away!

Take my puzzle away?! I'll show you Dada!

The wrestling match begins...watch out Chase! That's a dangerous place to put your face close to!!!

Let's call it a truce and play cars...

Camp Cute and Spooky

We went to Discoveryland's Camp Cute and Spooky with the Callis family. I had heard a few people tell me that this place was GREAT. Well, we had an ok time, but probably won't do this Halloween event next year, it seemed like there was a huge line for EVERYTHING. The trick or treating consisted of about five dress up characters standing in a half circle, which if Chase was older and actually cared about trick or treating, that would have been REALLY disappointing after waiting in line for so long to actually even get to the trick or treat area! They also had a petting zoo, Halloween music playing, and a few Halloween blow ups... but for the money, I give this place a thumbs down. I'm glad we tried it out though, it was super fun just being out with Nathan and his mom and dad, and the boys looked so cute in their costumes!

Having some snacks waiting in line to get into the event...

Waiting in line to Trick or Treat... the boys were getting a wee bit impatient...

Time to Trick or Treat!!!

After getting our 5 pieces of candy we moved on to the petting zoo...

Nathan's spider costume literally scared the pee out of this goat!!!

Woodward Park

So I thought I would take Chase to Woodward park and possibly get some cute fall pictures. The visit to the park started out calm and curious in the rose garden..

And then... he was off and running!!!

One day, I will be as tall as this tree....

Look mom! Leaves that aren't brown!!

Let's see what I can get into over this way!

What is this??? Rocks??? I have never climbed on such things before, and I will touch each one out here!

This is the look of a kid having a grand ole time!!!

Finally sitting still!!! I can get a still shot picture! Oh, but his cup is in his face...

So much for snapping a cute fall picture... Oh well, he had fun running around, exploring, and climbing on every rock he could get on to.

Shepherd's Cross Pumpkin Festival

I get an email from t-town moms every now and again, and it always gives great ideas on where to take your kids and things to do. The last one I got suggested this Shepherd's Cross pumpkin festival out in Claremore. It's a biblically based farm, where they have a garden you can go through that really has pumpkins growing! They have animal petting, a small shop, a hay maze, a hay ride, and of course.. the pumpkin patch!!!

On our way!!! First time to wear the new Thomas the Train sunglasses... (didn't last more than a minute)

At the pumpkin patch...

What's wrong with this pumpkin????

It's weird to touch!

We tried to get a cute fall picture next to the scarecrow... one word... MISTAKE

Get this scary thing AWAY FROM ME!!!!

OK! Off to something more peaceful...

Chase thought the hay maze was pretty cool... and he was UNBELIEVABLY fast at going through it!!!!

The Castle in Muskogee

We were excited to take Chase back to the castle this year, last year he was too little to even really know what was going on, but this year, I think he had a great time! We didn't do a whole lot there because most of it is stuff to really scare you, but we did go back to the enchanted boardwalk and I think Chase liked most of it!

We were trying to get him to pose by the skeleton, but it was a little too scary...

What are you so happy about mom?? This is scary stuff!!!

He got over it pretty quick and was happy riding around in the stroller...

Here dad! Have a snack! Just open your mouth like this....

So proud of himself, he loves feeding dada...

Yay for Haunted Castle!!!!
