Chase is 3!!!

When Chase woke up on May 16, he woke up to balloons and decorations, he was so excited. This year, he really knew what was going on, and he knew it was his special day. DeeDee came over in the morning and played him his special birthday song and gave him some presents.

Dancing to the birthday song!
Lets open presents!!!
A Buzz lightyear and a Woody doll. Chase was beside himself, EVERY time we went to Target he would tell me he wanted these dolls.
Kaylee in the Woody hat... such a cutie pie
We got the birthday boy the Jessie doll and the alien from Toy Story
I made Chase a pudding pie for his birthday.
Make a wish!!
Chase requested a bubbles and Buzz lightyear birthday party, so that is what we did. He had three friends and his three cousins over. We had a bubble machine, a buzz lightyear rocket pinata, and we played games, and of course... opened presents!
Both of the great grandma's came to the party, I don't know if I really want to know what Nana must have been talking about here...
Ella loves her little cousin Kaylee, she always takes such good care of her.
Time for the pinata! We got a pull string pinata, not quite as exciting as one that you bat at, but much safer I suppose.
Then the boys played in the yard before heading home. Chase had a great birthday this year, he was so excited to see all his little friends come over to celebrate with him. This was definitely a fun birthday for all of us.

Kaylee is getting so big!!!!

My baby girl is 6 months old now. She is really wanting to crawl, and is almost there. She has two little teeth poking through on the bottom, and she is really enjoying having some real baby food instead of formula all the time. She is the sweetest, happiest baby ever, so blessed to have this baby girl!!!

Renaissance Festival

We finally made it back to the Renaissance fair at the castle in Muskogee. It has been a few years since we got to go, and we have always really enjoyed it, so we were super excited to get to go back. Chase is kind of in to pirates and knights right now, so he was beside himself that he was going to get to meet a 'real' pirate. He is such a goofball, he sat in the car just like this the whole drive to Muskogee, with a huge smile plastered on his face.

The first thing we had to do was, of course, see the pirate show...
Afterwards, Chase went in the pirate ship and took the 'pirate oath' to become an offical pirate. He was a little shy and didn't repeat all the words back in the oath, but he did manage to get the 'aargh' out at the end. He was paid a diamond not tell any of the knights where the pirates were hiding, and that's how he became an offical PIRATE. Here he is looking up to the statue, he was much more willing to get near the statue than next to a real pirate...
And a pickle for the new pirate...
After walking around for awhile, we made our way to the 'kids kingdom'. Chase was literally on the fence about whether or not he wanted to ride a horse.
And he did it!!!
So proud of himself
Next we came to the alligator tunnel.. Chase was scared at first..
He made it through with Daddy
And then he went over and over and over again by himself...
